approach
I built the identity around the cultural clash at the heart of the story — a Kurdish uncle moving into a Norwegian collective and disrupting their routines.
Visually, I merged a Kurdish and Norwegian J to reflect this tension. The slogan “kulturkræsj i kollektivet”, roughly translating to culture crash in the collective housing, became a central concept.
The goal for the campaign was to get more 13-18 year olds to the cinema.

While the final campaign was executed by another designer, it was based on my visual exploration and early logo idea.
I also contributed to the final tagline, "when your Kurdish uncle moves into your Norwegian collective housing".
